The craziest Jazz Manouche band from Italy
The music of Four On Six is a mix of engaging sounds. The band has built over time a repertoire based mainly on original compositions and tributes to Italian music.
Four On Six bring their very original contribution to the galaxy of manouche genre through inspiration ranging from traditional swing to nu jazz. The project was born in 2011 in Milan, and have released 2 albums Four On Six in 2015 and Colpo di Testa in 2018 by Irma Records.
Interplay and the pleasure of creating, arranging and playing together, a friendship, a visible and palpable interaction gives to the audience the idea of an ensemble that guarantee a show full of emotions in spite of virtuosity for its own sake.
The band have built a repertoire mainly based on original compositions and tribute to Italian masterpieces (like The Barber of Seville, La Traviata and famous soundtracks by Nino Rota) and have earned international reputation throughout Europe and Asia (Japan, Taiwan and South Korea).
The ensemble provide a recognizable sound whatever they are playing.
The main aim is to share music not only on stage but also through the interaction between audience and the band.
